here it is.

Dear readers,

I would first off like to say sorry for my slacking off, I keep trying to get inspiration for my posts but I've been so busy and all my ideas are time consuming but as usual I'm going to try to post as often as I can! Because there's no comparable feeling to me then sitting down and writing about fashion, especially with a warm cup of joe in my hand.

I keep thinking there must not be many reader's so why bother posting often, but I'm extremely humbled to find out, as I'm figuring out blogger more and more, I have many reader's!! Around 500 views overall since I started actually. So thank you sincerely anyone who is reading it's truly humbling. I know it's not much but it's just enough to put a smile on my face.

So to stop boring you with that speech I'll carry on to my latest project...

I've recently have had the opportunity to work with Denis Duquette again, and as usual I had an amazing time. For this shoot I was actually able to style my outfits. For this shoot we had a wintery trend going on, which is found on many runways this season including rag & bone, dsquared and many more. As many fashion reporter are buzzing about, this is essentially Canada's comeback, who knows winter better then Canadians?!

Were always adapting normal fashion trends for our cold winter's now it's the ladies in California to adapt, it's our time to shine and stay warm. So don't be afraid to play with fur's, scarfs, wools, etc. But remember faux fur is essential, any piece of clothing that I buy or own with fur is fake and will always be, just a little side note. But returning to my subject here are some of the picture's from this fun shoot. Enjoy.

boyfriend's closet.

So the point of this post is to teach you ladies how to bring your boyfriends clothing into your wardrobe. Now the transfer is simple, treat these pieces as if they were a sort of statement piece. I would try using no more then two at a time, or else people will mistake you for your boyfriend from behind (please don't let this happen to you).

So here's the trick as you see in outfit one I mix a women's blazer with the boyfriends jeans. Now you can leave the jeans unrolled, but if you want to wear it with heels it's more elongating if you pare it with a rolled jean.

In outfit number two we have women's skinny jeans, your boy's band t-shirt and his blazer. Now when it comes to there blazer's the look is supposed to be over sized, but if you wanna give it a little bit of a feminine touch, roll the cuffs and pin the back from the inside creating a sort of pleat that will define your waist more. It's essential that you do pin it in the back if your going to be wearing something flowy underneath (like paring it with a band t-shirt as I did) or else your just making yourself look huge with stick legs. Unless your boyfriend is close to the same size as you, alteration might not be necessary.

And last but not least, the boyfriends button up t-shirt. In the third outfit I decided to pair it with printed leggings and a belt for more definition. If your too afraid of the statement and wanna play it safe you can wear it with a solid color legging also.

So in this image we find the struggling artist look, which personally I'm in love with! There's nothing more fun then vintage jewlery and second hand clothing from the thrift store. From the outdoors, to the show, to the waitressing job to make ends meat, an aspiring artist always keeps the style going.

kardashian inspired glamour.

Here's a little outfit I came up with... I wish I could be the Kardashian sister's stylist because those girls always look so glamorous it's ridiculous, you'll never see them walking on the street in sweats there keeping glamour alive and I love that about them.

Anywho, there's the last post for today. I might start doing the whole random outfit post more often because I love styling and it gives me ideas for my everyday wardrobe so if it inspires you... your welcome.

DW by Kanye West...

The Man that always has something to say, is finally wordless and is expressing his emotions through fashion and honestly it should stay that way. West surprised me a lot with this collection, it reminded me very much of Versace with the sexy aspect, but better because Kanye brings in his hip-hop aspect that just makes it more bad ass. And am I the only one ready to drop a months worth of pay for those awesome shoes! Every single shoe in this collection is incredible, if he keeps up this good work he could branch off into shoe/accessories designs.

Overall review ... New found respect for Kanye, he's gonna be taking over the fashion world and not only our radio's.

fall maxi skirts.

Here are a few ways to bring your maxi skirts into the fall season, try mixing basic tops and adding accessories that compliment the fall (scarfs, hats, fur, etc.) If your like me and your in a cold place like Canada for the fall, try wearing leggings under your maxi if your scared of being too cold, it'll double as a sort of spanx sucking everything in also. And ladies please don't be afraid of wearing boots under your maxi it just adds to your comfort, don't be shy.
