christmas inspiration.

Tis the season to be fashionable!! Gift cards for shopping are flooding are stockings, why not take advantage? I find that Christmas time is the perfect setting for your "beginning of the year wardrobe". Not only do you have a little extra cash to spend on clothes but the sales are raging on boxing day. So take advantage fashionista's it's your time to shine!

Now a little bit of elaboration for the outfits below, these are for your holiday events whether it be with your family, a staff party or any other holiday event, I got you covered. So for the holiday season we like to stay a bit more conservative and this applies to family gatherings all the way to staff parties. Now this doesn't mean you can't have fun! If you look at the outfits below I'm keeping in tune with the conservative side by doing higher neck lines, but not to lose your playfulness you can pare these with a skirt or heels or fun accessories. Around the holiday's it's also fun to play with color, and it's the only time of year you can year red and green in the same outfit without feeling totally ridiculous. For a last little fun outfit I added a cozy skinny jean, holiday sweater, snoodie scarf  and uggs for the ultimate comfy christmas morning outfit.

Hope I was able to inspire a little of your holiday outfits, if you have any questions or in need of some advice don't hesitate to leave a comment,  I appreciate getting your questions and I'm more then happy to reply.

Happy Holidays Everyone!
Lots of love, Jess.

fellow blogger.

The point of this post was just to promote a fellow blogger user, Scott Schuman. This is one of my favorite fashion bloggers, and I thought I'd share it with you guys. I am of course talking about the Sartorialist, which is a "street fashion" photography blog.

What I love about this blog is that he is always posting such unique pictures, the outfits that you find aren't always necessarily "in style" nor found on the runways, but it portrays something deeper than the outfits shown. There is a story in every photograph, and to me that's whats so beautiful about this blog. He barely writes a thing when posting his photo's because he wants you to make your own interpretation of it.

I often use this blog as inspiration for my own day to day outfits. So make sure to check it out and inspire yourself.
